CARLISLE UNITED
At the end of April the whole school was involved in a sponsored skills afternoon with Carlisle United's community coaches. The Year 3 / 4 children had received 6 weeks coaching and all the children spent a glorious sunny afternoon working on their skills. Incredibly we managed to raise over £800, which is shared between the school and Carlisle United, and will help us to pay for the coaching sessions as well as pay for some extras. Carlisle United also treated us to a hold of their newly won cup as they have been promoted back into the football league; all the children had their photos taken with James and John our community coaches and the cup.
